Behold. udpac. If you've been associated with Summer Stage or UD's performance groups, you should join today. :P

Yes, that's right. There's finally a community for all the Summer Stagers and other UD performing arts nerds from past to present on LJ. I daresay the combined LJ and theatre drama will cause the community to implode upon itself.

You can thank dietzorama1701 for this. He mentioned Xanga had some sort of "Summer Stager blogring" (whatever that means). I won't see Xanga one-upping LJ like that. ;-)

What exit are you off 476?

Exit 9 (Upper Darby/Broomall Rt. 3 (West Chester Pike)) for me. :D

I have a meeting at Barnaby's on MacDade Blvd on Thursday. I'm coming from Boothwyn and I'm not sure if I exit east or west onto MacDade from the blue route. I've checked their site, Rand McNally, Yahoo! Maps, and Map Quest, they tell me to get on MacDade but don't tell me east or west. Does anybody know which way or to bare right or left of the exit?

Thanks!

I have a library book that was due on Saturday. With all the hubbub with the car flooding (which is fine now) and everything I forgot to renew it. I just tried to renew it now through the website and it appears that you can not renew overdue books (through the website at least). Now, I have to go to the springfield library, give them my 60 (!) cents and renew the damn thing.

I live in Morton and work in Upper Darby...this will be a pain.
Automation and the electronicalness (hehe) of things is only cool if it's convenient. It sucks otherwise.

grrrrr

Barrel Grocer Closes Apr. 25th, 2005 @ 10:30 pm
damngoodphil
I had a shock to my system yesterday.

Barrel Grocer, a local candy store and one of the initial tenants of the Springfield Square South (the "Borders Books" shopping center), apparantly has closed.

I don't know when it happened; it was still open at Easter time. This place has been there since as long as I can remember. It's been two blocks away from me my entire life and now it's gone. Thank God we have the Coldstone Creamery now...

Has anyone else ever been there? It was one of the best places ever...

I like food. You like food.

What are some of your favorite food places in delco?

I like Italian Delite in Broomall, with the angry old guy shouting in Italian 24/7.

Soprano's in Newtown Sq. has good food but upset me because it is half owned by Armenians. I feel misled. It should be called Sopranoian's

And of course Cut Above Deli in Newtown Square. Nothing beats a giant hoagie on a good roll. In fact I might have to pick one up this week.
